Blog
Welcome to the paradise of beaches with turquoise water. You couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend your summer vacation, so let us recommend 5 activities that you simply can’t miss in the Mexican Caribbean.
The Cancun Underwater Museum (MUSA)
It is the second largest barrier reef in the world and in 2009 the project decided to establish the second Cancun Underwater Museum where you can admire 500 sculptural figures. What makes this museum unique is that these sculptures gradually transform into living coral communities that gradually become inhabited by creatures of the sea. Just one activity in Cancun.
The adrenaline of the Waverunners
Besides the majestic sea, Cancun has the beauty of mangrove forests where flora and fauna are born and give life to the Nichupte Lagoon. There is nothing more extraordinary than climbing aboard a powerful waverunner (jetski) and zig zag through the numerous canals of the Nichupte Lagoon that flow into the sea. At the Sunset Admiral Yacht Club & Marina there are discounts for our members, so there’s no excuse not to adventure.
Rent a yacht, catamaran, or book a cruise
Due to the depth of the sea, you'll notice that the shades of water color in Cancun vary, so there’s nothing better than discovering its treasures by venturing on a yacht or catamaran and tanning, snorkelling, and overall having a great time. We also have the Sunset Cocktail Cruise, which is a boat ride at sunset with drinks and gourmet snacks. For any of these activities, see the Sunset Admiral Yacht Club & Marina.
Night life
Ready to have fun tonight? Meet us at the Party Center to experience all the hottest clubs and bars in Cancun. The loud music, outdoor bars and shows with professional dancers, make you completely lose track of time and will keep you dancing until the sun comes up. Reserve a tour, at an extra cost, with your hotel concierge that takes you to the nightclubs while avoiding all the long lines.
Shopping
The shopping in Cancun is irresistible because we have 3 main squares where you will find all kinds of merchandise. Plaza Caracol and Kukulcan Plaza were the first places where you could find prestigious jewelers, today these malls have a more relaxed profile. Kukulcan Plaza with its beautiful colored dome, has prestigious brand stores known worldwide. And finally we have Plaza La Isla, an architectural gem where shops and restaurants are beautifully framed by the waters of the Nichupte Lagoon.
