1. Coco Bongo
Praised by international media groups like Rolling Stone, MTV, E Entertainment and Billboard Magazine, Coco Bongo is the place to party in Cancun. This huge nightclub with a capacity for 1800 partygoers features unparalleled live shows which include acrobats, excellent artist impersonators, a light show, and tons of confetti and balloons. 2. The City
The City has established itself as the largest nightclub in Latin America with impressive light and sound systems, a capacity of up to 5,000 people and 9 bars distributed on three levels. World-class artists like Fergie, Ludacris, Akon, Flo Rida, American Eagle, MTV, 50 Cent, Sasha, Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Snoop Dogg, and Paris Hilton have appeared at The City.
3. Mandala
Mandala is one of Cancun’s most popular spots. It opens promptly at 9:30 pm and with a capacity for around 800 partiers, this open air club has a more intimate feel than Coco Bongo and The City. Sit outside and you can watch everything that’s happening in the Party Zone. With a beautiful Asian décor, a great mix of music and a pretty crowd, Mandala never disappoints.
4. Dady ‘O
Dady'O is one of Cancun’s original nightclubs, and it’s still going strong. The décor is cavern-like with a rotating dance floor and the mix of music includes 80's, 90's, dance and Hip-Hop. Dady ‘O features bikini contests, theme nights, dancers, acrobats and laser shows. Six bars make it easy to take full advantage of open bar service until the wee hours of the morning.
5. Palazzo
Palazzo, formerly Bulldog, formerly Christine, is Cancun’s newest nightspot. The décor is beautiful and features stripper poles (and stripper pole contests) and a huge chandelier. The resident DJ spins house/pop/billboard hits, guest DJs rock the house and the club offers free transportation (Don’t drive drunk!) to those with reservations.
